Join us for an evening with Colonel Doug Mastriano as he talks about his book Alvin York, as well as the importance of character, what you do in life matters.

This event is open to EO Members/Spouses, Accelerators/Spouses, and high school age children and older.

Colonel Douglas Mastriano has a PhD in history, a Masters in Strategic Studies,  a Masters in Strategic Intelligence, a Masters in Military Operational Art and a Masters in Airpower Theory. He was commissioned in the United States Army in 1986. He began his career on the Iron Curtain with the 2nd Armored Cavalry Regiment.  He subsequently served in Iraq and Afghanistan. Colonel Mastriano is currently teaching strategy at the US Army War College in Carlisle Barracks, Pennsylvania. His book, Alvin York: a New Biography of the Hero of the Argonne received four writing awards and is considered the definitive history of America’s most celebrated Soldier.
